2021 Genesis G80: 10 Things Worth Knowing As the luxury brand welcomes SUVs to its lineup, it’s making sure not to neglect its sedans

# 9 - Relax, rejuvenate

In addition to that great screen, the infotainment system also includes the “Sounds of Nature” feature, which, when selected, makes use of the audio system to make it sound like you’re sitting in a coffee shop, a rainforest, on the seaside and more. This may seem superfluous but during my test, there were times I didn’t want to listen to my YouTube Music playlist or talk radio, but I wanted something so I turned Sounds of Nature on and it made for a surprisingly relaxing ride.

# 10 - Not-so-luxurious cost of entry

The 2.5T Advanced model starts at $66,000 in Canada, while the 3.5T Prestige seen here comes in at $76,000. Similarly-equipped models from Volvo, Mercedes or BMW will have you well into the $80,000 range, and the fact that there are few options makes the buying process that much easier – and less painful financially. Plus, since this is Genesis, if you want to test drive one they’ll bring it to you and once you own one, they will come to your house to pick it up for maintenance and leave you a temp car.
