2021 Hybrid and Electric Car Guide: The Plug-In Hybrids Here’s the fifth edition of our annual guide to hybrid and electric cars available in Canada!

Mitsubishi

While Japanese automaker Mitsubishi has just revamped its Outlander SUV - the new model is closely related to the Nissan Rogue - the plug-in hybrid version of that model remains similar to last year's. However, even though the "old" Outlander stays with us for another year, the manufacturer has improved both the gasoline engine (from 2.0L to 2.4L) and the battery pack, as well as several other elements that are too long to list. The upshot is this year’s Outlander PHEV is said to deliver better performance than last year’s.
