2027 Genesis GV60 Magma Gets $99,500 Price Tag in Canada The first model to launch under the banner of the Korean luxury brand's high-performance sub-brand butts up against the 100-grand mark.

Genesis has announced Canadian pricing for the 2027 Genesis GV60 Magma. The first model to launch under the banner of the Korean luxury brand's high-performance sub-brand comes with an all-inclusive price tag of $99,500 CAD (which includes freight, PDI, and destination charges).

That $99,500 price includes five years or 100,000 km of complimentary scheduled maintenance, Genesis At-Home valet service, 24/7 roadside assistance and connected services.

As a comparison, the regular 2027 GV60 Advanced trim is priced at $72,500 in Canada; the GV60 Sport costs $84,500. The Magma thus costs an extra $15,000 over and above that variant.

The electric crossover is scheduled to arrive at Canadian dealerships by the end of November 2026.

Powertrain of the 2027 Genesis GV60 Magma

The GV60 Magma sits on an upgraded dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain fed by an 84-kWh battery. While standard operating output tops 600 hp, engaging Boost mode unlocks the full 641 hp and 583 lb-ft of torque.

Supported by an 800V architecture, the battery can charge from 10 to 80 percent in around 18 minutes when connected to a 250-kW DC fast charger.

An Electronic Limited Slip Differential (e-LSD) and dedicated chassis calibrations manage traction across various drive modes, including SPRINT, GT, Launch Control and Drift Mode.

To elevate driver engagement, Genesis has integrated its Virtual Gear Shift (VGS) system, which simulates mechanical gear shifts with corresponding motor torque interruptions, visual tachometer cues and artificial sound feedback generated through an upgraded e-Active Sound Design Plus (e-ASD+) audio system.

Visually, the GV60 Magma adopts a lower, wider stance framed by functional aerodynamic tweaks. Up front, integrated bumper canards and air extractors complement a winglet-style rear spoiler to increase high-speed downforce. The crossover rides on model-specific 21-inch matte-finish forged alloy wheels wrapped in wider performance rubber.

Canadian buyers can select from four exterior paint finishes: Magma Orange, Uyuni White, Vik Black and Makalu Gray Matte.
