Jeep has unveiled the 2027 Wrangler Switchback, the twelfth and final edition of its Twelve 4 Twelve series. The variant concludes a sequence of monthly launches that began in November 2025 to mark the brand’s 85th anniversary.
Based on the Wrangler Rubicon X, the Switchback will be offered in two-door and four-door configurations. Its unique characteristics mainly concern exterior presentation and cabin appointments, featuring body panels in contrasting colours and several green accents.
Design of the 2027 Jeep Wrangler Switchback
For this final edition, Jeep says it drew inspiration from video games and digital culture. The result rests on a combination of gloss black and Sting-Gray, complemented by touches of Gecko Green.
The doors and vented hood contrast with the rest of the bodywork, giving the impression that certain parts came from another Wrangler. This presentation stems from a peculiar assembly method: black and grey vehicles are manufactured sequentially, and their doors are swapped during production. The hoods are subsequently replaced at the customization centre.
Gecko Green is found notably on the grille surround, wheel trim rings, hood graphics and a tailgate decal. The model gets a a "41" side graphic as well as Jeep and Trail Rated badges finished in black. The tow hooks are in the same black finish.
Up above, the Switchback gets a three-piece modular hardtop, offered in either gloss black or Sting-Gray.

Inside, the black Nappa leather seats feature an embossed Switchback logo. Sea Salt accents trim the dashboard surround, door armrests and centre console lid.
Pearl and Lime stitching continue the theme of contrasts. The vehicle also gains a plaque in the cup holder and another on the tailgate. The latter features technical illustrations of the Wrangler, specifications and references to Detroit and Toledo, referncing its design and manufacturing heritage.
Motifs representing the seven-slot grille and the silhouette of a Willys also appear on the air vents.
2027 Jeep Wrangler Switchback – Canadian availability and pricing
In Canada, announced price sits at $87,370 for the two-door Wrangler Switchback and $91,180 for the four-door version. These figures include the $2,395 freight and air conditioning tax, along with other applicable fees. Jeep notes that the Switchback option package costs $2,995.
Order books will open in November. However, the automaker has specified neither the total production run nor the target date for first deliveries.
