Mazda Canada has released pricing and packaging details for the 2027 Mazda3 sedan and Mazda3 Sport hatchback.
The model gets a starting price (MSRP) in Canada of $25,750, for the base GX model with front-wheel drive. The range-topping GT Turbo with AWD sits at the other extreme and is priced at $39,700.
Freight and PDI for all models is set at $2,095 CAD.
2027 Mazda3 – What’s new?
Heading into the ninth year of its current generation, the compact lineup returns with minimal changes, continuing to offer front-wheel drive and i-Activ all-wheel drive, naturally aspirated and turbocharged powerplants, and an available manual transmission on select hatchback models.
For 2027, Mazda has made Rear Seat Alert standard across all trim levels.
Powertrains of the 2027 Mazda3
The entry GX and mid-tier GS trims rely on the naturally aspirated 2.5L SKYACTIV-G 4-cylinder engine, producing 186 hp and 186 lb-ft of torque paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The GT sedan is offered in FWD or AWD, while the Mazda3 Sport GT retains an available 6-speed manual gearbox paired with FWD.
At the top of the lineup, the GT Turbo pairs i-Activ AWD exclusively with the SKYACTIV-G 2.5T Dynamic Pressure Turbo engine. Running on high-octane fuel, total output reaches 250 hp and 320 lb-ft of torque.
Equipment
The base GX includes heated front seats, standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and an extensive suite of safety tech including adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go and lane-keeping assistance.
Moving up to the GS trim adds dual-zone automatic climate control, heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, wireless smartphone connectivity, 10.25-inch central display and a wireless charging pad. The available Luxury Package adds leatherette seating, a sunroof and 10-way power driver memory settings, while unlocking optional i-Activ AWD.
The range-topping GT trim upgrades the cabin with black leather seating, 12-speaker Bose audio system, 360-degree camera and an adaptive front-lighting system.
