18 – Checker Marathon 1981-1982
We return to the Checker brand, and present the model that more than any other came to represent it in the popular imagination. The model was produced starting in 1960 (as a 1961 model) right up until 1981. Check out any film set in New York City in the 60s, 70s or 80s, and chances are you’ll spot one of these before too long.
