2 –Checker Model K6 1929
Over the next seven decades, a wide range of models made their appearance as paid people movers. 1922 saw the founding of a company specialized in producing vehicles designed for service as taxis. Checker Motors was successful pretty much immediately and became a reference in the trade. It continued to build taxi cars until the early 1980s.
