Jacques Rainville, renowned journalist and automobile reporter, passed away on January 1st, 2001.
Mr. Rainville distinguished himself for over thirty years in the automotive world, always exploring new avenues: columnist at Le Journal de Québec , radio host, editor of the Canadian Carguide , columnist for Autojournal , TV host on a number of shows, and author of the popular Almanach de l'Auto . He was also one of the founding members of the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC).
