ACT Castrol unveils 2008 schedule

The Canadian ACT-Castrol series run mostly in Quebec will have nine races during its 2008 season. The series will begin its season on May 18 for a 100 lapper at l'Autodrome St-Eustache. Then, it will move to Autodrome Montmagny on May 31, Autodrome Chaudière on June 14, both for 100-lap events. A 150 lapper at l'Autodrome St-Félcien will follow them on July 5. The series will be back at St-Eustache on July 26 for a 200 lapper that should include American competitors. The tour will then move to the Capital City Speedway (near Ottawa) for a 100-lap event, returning to Autodrome Chaudière on August 16 for a 150-lap race. Then, there will be a 250-lap event with American drivers at Montmagny on August 23 with a grand finale of 300 laps back at St-Eustache on September 21. The ACT-Castrol tour will also include three races not counting for the championship, a 200 lapper on July 13 at Kawartha Speedway in Ontario, the TD Banknorth 250 at Oxford Plains Speedway in Maine and, finally, a 200-lap ACT Showdown where ten of the Canadian ACT best drivers will go against ten of the top ACT US drivers at l'Autodrome Chaudière.
