Acura Integra – 1987-2001

Interestingly, Acura will soon bring back the Integra name to a lineup stuffed with model names lacking actual names (replaced by MDX, RDX, NSX, etc.). But lest we worry about the reborn sedan feeling like the black sheep of the family, let’s not forget the Integra’s role in founding the family, way back when.  It was with this compact car that the Acura brand was launched in 1986 for the 1987 model-year.

Often linked to the Civic lineup, the Integra has still managed to build a solid reputation among fans of sporty compact cars. Something tells us that the reincarnation of the Integra won't be as memorable though. We'll see by the end of the year if our concerns are well-founded.
