Acura 3.2CL Type S – 2001-2003

The automaker makes a lot of noise these days with its Type S badge, now emblazoned on three of the brand's models, but in fact the red "S" made its appearance over 20 years ago, for the 2001 model-year.

It started when the folks at Acura HQ decided to graft it onto the CL coupe . Under the hood of the coupe sat a naturally aspirated 3.2L V6 good for 260 hp, and the car benefited from a sport suspension and 17-inch wheels, among other elements designed to maximize performance.
