outside, only the front grille and headlights are modified, as well as new alloy wheels. With its new front end, the Pacifica has a more-refined look, and bears a closer resemblance to the Crossfire.A few changes and improvements were brought to the interior. First of all, there is a new material used for the seats, called YES Essentials, which resists against odours, stains and static. Second, the dash and door panels are now two-tone, and the instrument panel has been revised. Last but not least, standard safety equipment is added, including electronic stability control and side-curtain airbags. As mentioned earlier, DaimlerChrysler also showed off their new V6 engine, which will be connected to a new six-speed automatic transmission. The V6 displaces 4.0 liters, and develops 255 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. According to Chrysler, the new

"The new six-speed transmission also was designed to increase the peak launch torque capacity by 30 percent, allowing greater acceleration at start.", says Bob Lee, Vice-President of Powertrain Engineering. For 2007, the Pacifica will be offered in three trim levels: base, Touring and Limited. Each of these models will be available in front-wheel-drive and all-wheel drive. However, pricing has not yet been announced.
