The American Le Mans Series has announced that it will not race on the same weekend as NASCAR is coming to Montreal next year.
For the past few years, the Montreal NASCAR event and the Mosport ALMS race clashed.
The ALMS series has therefore decided to give its teams and drivers a much needed two weeks break between the Canadian round and the following one in Mid-Ohio.
The series will be heading to Mosport on July 24th rather than in August, meaning drivers wanting to drive in the others series, or in the Nationwide race will be able to do so.
