True NASCAR fans will have to go through an unusual schedule this week as the three main series will run the very wild half-mile Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee. Indeed, racing begun with the Craftsman Truck series on Wednesday evening, the O'Reilly 200 in which Canadian Patrick Carpentier (Dodge No 04) participated. Then, the Nationwide drivers will be in action at the same track on Friday evening for the Food City 250 in which young Andrew Ranger (Dodge No 22), NASCAR Canadian Tire's 2007 champ and latest winner at Trois-Rivières, will be making his second race in the series. Regular D.J. Kennington (Dodge No 81) will also be in the race which will be televised on ESPN and TSN at 7:30 pm. Incidentally, TSN will televise both the Nationwide and the Sprint Cup qualifications starting 3:30 pm on Friday afternoon. Finally, on Saturday evening, the Sharpie 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup race will start at 8:00 pm. Canadian Patrick Carpentier (Dodge No 10) should be part of the show, as usual. This race will be seen live on ESPN, TSN and RDS (French). NASCAR Canadian Tire teams are not racing this weekend.
