Ex-Formula One driver Scott Speed (Camry No 2) won his first ARCA stock-car race at the Kansas Speedway on his fifth start in the series. He was closely followed by young Ricky Steinhouse (Ford No 99), one of Jack Roush's rising stars. Canadians Ryan Fischer (B.C.) (Chevy No 25) and Pierre Bourque (Ontario) (Dodge No 02) finished respectively 10th and 24th.
