ARCA: Two Frenchmen at Daytona

France has been known for a long time as being a provider of outstanding drivers in different type of racing cars series, but NASCAR was not one of the most popular destinations for them. That will change this week-end as two Frenchmen will take part in the ARCA Racing Series’ race in Daytona.

We have already talked to you about Michel Disdier who will drive the Dodge No.22 owned and prepared by Cunningham Motorsports this coming February 16th on the famed superspeedway, but his countryman Julien Jousse will also be on hand driving the No.94 Toyota of David Leiner Racing.

This will also be a special occasion as the ARCA Racing Series will celebrate its 50th participation at the Daytona classic.

Those two drivers have both experiences in either the ARCA Series or the K&N Pro Series but they never had the chance to race on a superspeedway before.That is way they took part in last December practice sessions that were held on the famed circuit whre theu experienced for the first time drafting.
