The companies will gauge the public’s reaction to the all-new creation and determine if the model will be built in 2012. After its official debut, the car will be heading to the famous Nürburgring track on May 28, where it will be put through its gruelling paces.

In 1961, Aston Martin approached Zagato to develop a lighter and more potent version of the DB4GT. Amid street legal models, three units were designed specifically for the track and used to great success by legendary drivers like Jim Clark and Roy Salvadori.
