Three Audi DTM teams are going to simultaneously test but at two different venues since the Audi Team Abt Sportsline and satellite teams Phoenix and Futurecom TME have different objectives.Audi's main team, Abt Sportsline, will be in southern France, at the Castellet HTTT circuit to conduct an extensive testing programme before contesting its maiden race, on 13th April, 2008, at the Hockenheimring in Germany.The new Audi A4 DTM will be on track from December the 13th thru the 15th. Still, it has not yet been decided which of the four Abt drivers is going to carry out the tests at the Castellet. On their parts, Audi Sport' Team Phoenix and Futurecom TME will conduct their tests at Spain's Almeria racetrack, and the teams' main focus will be set on selecting new drivers. There are a total of four DTM seats available. Only Alexandre Prémat and Mike Rockenfeller have been confirmed as of today. Tests at Almeria started yesterday and they will continue until December the 14th.
