The ultimate driving fantasy? Santa's giving gifts early this year and the hottest item of them all might very well be BMW's 2007 Limited Edition Individual M6 Convertible. Only 50 of these custom-made automobiles will be available for purchase exclusively through the legendary Neiman Marcus Christmas Book. The price? $139,000.
The luxury convertible comes with a custom Ruby Black exterior finish, Piano Black interior trim elements, power sports seats wrapped in custom Gold Brown Merino leather as well as M-radial spoke alloy wheels. The car is also equipped with an incredible 11-speaker Surround Sound stereo and six-disc CD changer. Everything else remains fairly the same, including the Formula 1 inspired, 5.0-liter V10 engine that produces 500 horsepower and can launch the M6 from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds.But there's more. Each of the 50 lucky buyers will be able to fly to Europe to take delivery of their new M6 Convertible directly from the factory and to drive in Bavarian countryside. They will also have the opportunity to meet with the automaker's famous car designers, and be given a private tour of the BMW factory in Munich. The trip is scheduled for next spring.
