3 – Six seats... or seven

The cabin can be configured to accommodate six or seven occupants. In the third row, the seats can be folded electrically with the help of buttons. The system is annoyingly slow, however, so much so that you wish you could fold them yourself. As for the "comfort" of the third row, even though we're talking about a BMW, we shouldn't expect miracles. The comfort level is acceptable, the space is even relatively generous, but the X7 is not a bus.

4 - The front grille

When the X7 was introduced, much of the talk revolved around its oversized front grille. In hindsight, and after seeing what the company's designers have done with the latest generation of the 4 Series, the X7's snout looks downright tiny. In fact, if there's one BMW product that deserves an oversized grille, it's this one. The proportions are right.
