7 - User-friendly multimedia system
For a long time, BMW's multimedia system was an ordeal to use. Over the generations, we've seen a lot of improvements and the current version is much, much better. It features a 12.3-inch touchscreen with vivid colours and a clear and visible display. The screen reacts well to smoothly executed keys and the system can accept a variety of voice commands dictated more naturally. Those who prefer to use a physical button will appreciate the fact that the vehicle has a touchpad controller. It is even possible to perform certain functions using the gesture recognition system. 8 - The seats
With the X7 xDrive40i, the seats are upholstered in synthetic leather and at the front, they are heated and 16-way power-adjustable. These adjustments include lumbar and side bolsters. The driver's seat has a memory function.
With the xDrive50i version, the bucket seats are 20-way power-adjustable and there’s a memory function for the passenger seat as well. Vernasca leather is standard on this model and it’s possible to opt for Merino leather, available in eight different colours.
