Could this be the Bugatti Chiron, heir to the Veyron?

By ,

It looks like the successor to the Bugatti Veyron was recently spotted on the roads of Italy. Photographer Erico Hessel took a picture which he later posted on Instagram.

As pointed out by Mashable.com , the all-black model is highly reminiscent of the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo concept that was unveiled at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September.

Little is known about this new Bugatti, which will reportedly be called “Chiron,” but some have speculated that a W16 engine producing 1,500 horsepower could be part of the mix, allowing top speeds of more than 430 km/h.

Now that is really fast and furious…
