Cadillac announces 2016 CTS-V, debut set for Detroit Auto Show

By ,

The new 2016 Cadillac CTS-V will make its debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit on January 13th, 2015, the company told Autoblog .

Featuring an engine derived from the Corvette ZR1, the current-generation CTS-V was launched in 2009 to rival powerful German sedans like the Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG and BMW M5 at a much lower price.

The new, third-generation CTS-V should be able to put up an even better fight, although no technical specs have been released so far.
