Cadillac Bringing One-of-One Celestiq Night Test to The Quail in Monterey The Celestiq was conceived as a fully bespoke ultra-luxury car; here’s the ultimate incarnation of that concept.

Ahead of Monterey Car Week in California, Cadillac has revealed a bespoke, one-off commission of its flagship electric sedan: the Celestiq Night Test. Set to make its public debut this Friday, August 14, at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, the unique build highlights the extensive personalization possibilities available through the brand’s hand-assembly process in Warren, Michigan.

Recall that the Celestiq was conceived as essentially a fully bespoke ultra-luxury car; here’s the ultimate incarnation of that concept.

Design of the Cadillac Celestiq Night Test

Inspired by the solitary, unseen preparation of dedicated athletes and musicians, the Night Test trades traditional chrome and bright hues for a subtle, shadowy aesthetic. The exterior features Caspia Tricoat Metallic paint, complemented by 23-inch multi-spoke wheels in a dark finish with Jade accents. Front lighting bezels also receive a stealthy Jade treatment, engineered to diffuse light rather than reflect it.

The interior
Inside, the hand-built EV maintains a monochromatic theme with Backen Black and Sheer Gray leather upholstery. Carbon-fibre accents and brushed-metal detailing are integrated throughout the cabin, creating an atmosphere designed to feel like a high-precision instrument.

Powertrain of the Cadillac Celestiq Night Test

Underneath its dark exterior, the Celestiq retains its standard performance setup. Powered by a dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain, the flagship delivers 655 hp and 646 lb-ft of torque. With Velocity Max engaged, the ultra-luxury sedan accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds.

Rather than offering a pre-configured option package, Cadillac built the Night Test as a singular showcase of its bespoke commissioning capabilities for the Celestiq. No doubt, the automaker’s hope is that this showcase will give well-heeled potential customers the itch to create a Celestiq of their very own. And to reach those customers, Monterey Auto Week is as good a platform as there is out there.

The vehicle will be displayed alongside the new Curated by Cadillac Escalade IQ program and a motorsport-inspired reveal as part of the brand’s Monterey Car Week showcase.
