For those that are not in the know, Callaway has been tuning cars since the mid 1970. He started off working on European cars but quickly moved to North American cars including the Chevrolet Corvette.
Last November, Reeves Callaway introduced his then latest creation: the C16, based on the latest generation of the Corvette. This time around, Mr Callaway has presented a drop-top version its supercharged C16. Output ranges from 560 hp to 616 hp depending on engine "tunage". The juiced LS2 V8 launches the car from a standstill to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and the ¼ mile is eclipsed in 11 seconds. On the styling front, the C16 gets its looks from the long line of Callaway products before it. The C16 Cabrio's price range starts at $128,765. Existing C6 Corvette owners can choose from a variety of C16 goodies to their personal cars.
