Car enthusiasts unite to bring joy to a dying kid

By ,

Scott Harrison, whose 11-year-old son Connor has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour and only has weeks to live, recently posted a note on a British Subaru forum saying that he was planning a small auto show in order to bring joy to this young enthusiast.

The note has gone viral and at least 270 cars have already committed for next week's event, to be called ''Connor's Day.''

With so many people stepping in, Harrison felt the need to make one very important request: ''my son DOES NOT KNOW the tumour has come back he just thinks he is unwell so please more important than anything is that HE IS NOT made aware in any way thank you all so much again.''

Connor's dad wants him to fully enjoy being a little boy for a few more weeks. He has also set up a PayPal account for donations to cancer research.
