Pacific Coast Motorsports will be in Long Beach to participate in the last Champ car race ever. The team has decided to prepare its No.29 Panoz DP01 for driver Alex Figge to drive for the final time. There are still ongoing discussions to find a driver for the other No.28 car.Last season, Figge and Ryan Dalziel debuted in the Champ Car World Series with the new Panoz DP01. But with the championship being absorbed by the IRL for 2008 - and the team failing to put together a package to switch series - Figge is facing up to one last race as a Champ Car driver. The team has decided to pursue its efforts in the Atlantic Series with two cars for 2008.
