Champ Car champion and veteran pilot Jimmy Vasser, co-owner of KV Racing Technology, will be back behind the wheel of a car for the last ever Champ Car race at Long Beach later this month.Vasser will drive alongside his regular drivers. Spain's Oriol Servia and Australia's Will Power on April 20. Jim Vasser won the Grand Prix of Long Beach, which is his home event, in his title-winning season in 1996, and also holds the record for the most Champ Car starts, currently 211.
