Chevrolet celebrates National Donut Day!

By ,

The first Friday of June is National Donut Day -- unfortunately, only in the U.S., not in Canada, except for some retailers -- and this year, Chevrolet wanted to celebrate the occasion by creating the biggest donut... with a Camaro ZL1!

National Donut Day honours the Salvation Army women, known as "Doughnut Girls" or "Doughnut Dollies," who distributed the treats to frontline U.S. soldiers during World War I. The inaugural edition took place in 1938, and today some restaurants like Krispy Kreme offer a free donut on National Donut Day.
