Dodge Fantasticar coming to movie screens near you

The very mean Silver Surfer is coming to Earth to prepare it for destruction. Who in the world will be able to stop him? The Fantastic Four, that's who, as you'll be able to see them once again on the big screen on June 15.
"Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" might just be the hit movie of the summer, but our quartet of heroes will need a vehicle that's up to the task of saving the world, and that vehicle is the Dodge Fantasticar.Powered by a HEMI--what else?--the Fantasticar can reach speeds of up to 550 miles an hour (880 km/h) and an altitude of 30,000 feet. It can also separate into three sections, as each one has deployable wings and can go as fast as the whole vehicle. Unfortunately, Dodge hasn't released any fuel economy numbers. The Fantasticar has unmistakable Dodge cues, such as the trademark crosshair grille with a ram's head logo. Inside the vehicle, the seats also gets ram's head logos on the headrests."Opportunities to be involved with the cultural icon like the Fantasticar don't come around very often, so we jumped at the chance to work with Marvel Comics and 20th Century Fox", said Michael Curmi, Senior Manager of Entertainment Marketing at the Chrysler Group. The Dodge Ram and Durango trucks will also see some action in the movie. And let's not forget an obvious merchandising blitz: a toy Dodge Fantasticar by Hasbro as well as an inclusion in the Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer video game.In addition, to showcase Dodge's participation in the movie, NASCAR Nextel Cup Series driver Elliot Sadler will get a new paint scheme on his No. 19 Charger. The Fantasticar Dodge will make its debut at the Coca-Cola 600 at Lowe's Motor Speedway on May 27th.
