Last weekend, DSQUARED²’s designing duo Dean and Dan Caten finally revealed their Red Mudder, a completely revamped MINI Cooper S sold at auction at Life Ball 2011, Europe’s largest AIDS charity event.
They’d promised a tough, manly MINI, and they delivered. With its front guard, tailgate-mounted spare tire, rally headlamps, raised chassis and all-terrain tires, this MINI is ready to tackle the most daunting backroads.
The car’s rebellious attitude is even reflected inside. The cabin features a compass and floor mats made of structured aluminum sheeting that protect the inside from mud and other adventure by-products.
