German watch manufacturer Scalfaro launches a special, limited edition of a luxury wristwatch identified to Canadian race car driver Bruno Spengler .
Spengler is having a great season so far in DTM, having already won a race and leading the point standings.
The “Scalfaro For Bruno Spengler Edition of Timepieces” is strictly limited to 33 units worldwide. According to the press release, it strikes with its unique design, masculine shape and uncompromising, solid quality.
It features important personal details such as Bruno Spengler’s signature and the Canadian Maple Leaf, which are integrated into the case side of the timepiece with the help of Scalfaro’s exclusive technique of Ceramic Intarsia.
The German national colours -- black, red & yellow -- are integrated into the bezel of the watch with solid coloured ceramic elements referring to his team, the German Mercedes AMG-HWA team.
Finally, completing the racing look and feel of this truly extraordinary timepiece, the logs at 6h and 12h feature a ceramic checkered flag as well as the individual edition number of each watch (XX/33) and the slogan “RACE”.
The watch features a case diameter of 42mm, a movement produced by Manufacture La Joux-Perret, Swiss mechanical movement with automatic winding, a stainless steel case with stainless steel bracelet and folding buckle, and a sapphire crystal both front and back (see-through case-back).
