After Lamborghini ’s domination in qualifying, it’s the Need for Speed Schuberth team ’s BMW Z4 GT3 that emerged in first position at mid-race, in Dubaï.
The leading BMW was running four laps ahead of AF Corse Ferrari F430 GT2, while Black Falcon’s Mercedes SLS AMG and Fach Auto Tech’s Porsche 997 GT3 R were battling hard for 3rd and 4th places.
Both Lamborghini Gallardo, which started from the front row of the grid, quickly suffered from engine problems, and dropped down in the field.
