Endurance: Bertrand Baguette to join OAK Racing

By ,

Former IndyCar driver Bertrand Baguette will join OAK Racing’s line-up for the World Endurance Championship this year.

Bertrand Baguette, who clinched Formula Renault 3.5 title in 2009, moved to IndyCar with Team Conquest in 2010. Last year, he only managed to race in the Indy 500 and led the race in the final moments until his last pit stop with four laps remaining. He also ran two GT1 World Championship races in a Ford GT last year.

This season, the Belgian driver is moving to sportscar racing and will compete the World Endurance Championship in the OAK Pescarolo-Judd LMP1 alongside Guillaume Moreau and Dominik Kraihamer, including Le Mans 24 Hours.
