The new Toyota TS030 Hybrid Le Mans car was seen in action on Monday at the Paul Ricard circuit of Le Castellet in France and several videos have been posted on the web since then.
The first video shows the TS030 leaving the pits using only its electric engines. Once the car reaches a certain speed in the pit lane, the V8 petrol engine is fired up.
The second video shows inboard footage of the car leaving the pits and going around the long configuration of the Paul Ricard circuit with the Mistral straightaway and the very fast Signes corner.
The third and last video shows the Toyota coming back into the pits. The drivers shuts down the V8 engine when he enters the pit lane and the car roll on electric power to reach its pit box.
