Two days after Audi's success at the 12 Hours of Sebring , the German team saw one of its hybrid prototypes destroyed in a big crash during a test session in Florida.
Timo Bernhard was at the wheel of the car when the accident happened at corner n° 17 following an apparent technical failure.
The German driver got out of his car by himself, but was transfered to hospital for precautionary tests.
