Endurance: Rinaldo Capello retires from prototype racing

Rinaldo Capello, a long time member of the Audi team, has annonced that he will no longer drive prototype cars.

The forty-eight-year-old Capello had numerous success with the Audi team, including three Le Mans 24 Hours victories alongside his good friends and teammates Tom Kristensen and Alan McNish.

The Dane and the Scot will share the driving of the Audi R18 e-tron in the last rounds of the World Endurance Championship.

Capello said he intends to keep competing behind the wheel of an Audi R8 LMS GT3.
