Even more customization options for the Fiesta

Noticing the success of its Fiesta customization options, Ford will be giving consumers an even broader choice in 2012 with three new packages designed to spruce up the inside or outside of the little runabout.

The high-end sport package is inspired from the European Focus RS, adding several black elements including rear-view mirrors, headlamps, a grille outline, license plate trim and a spoiler over the hatch.

On top of 16-inch alloy wheels, buyers choosing the manual transmission will get a reduced, performance-enhancing axle ratio (4.25 instead of 4.07).

The cabin packages will only be available on the SEL (sedan) and SES (hatchback) trims. Mimicking the most recent fashion and housing trends, the door panels and centre console will be adorned with splashes of white or red. The preferred hue will also appear as contrast stitching on the steering wheel. Finally, the shifter knob will be clad leather for even greater distinction.

Ford has currently sold over 26,000 Fiesta customization accessories.
