Excessively loud Corvette Stingray could be banned in South Korea

The launch of the seventh-generation Chevrolet Corvette in South Korea is being delayed indefinitely due to the country's regulation on automobile noise.

Equipped with a 450-horsepower LT1 V8 engine, the new Corvette Stingray is deemed too loud to drive in Korea. Chevrolet could try to sway lawmakers, but since only 12 Corvettes or so are imported to Korea every year, that seems unlikely.
