Montreal - Recently, Place Bonaventure hosted ExpoCam 2007, Canada's national truck show. There were many new heavyweight and middleweight trucks on hand. I first want to thank Steve Bouchard, chief editor of Transport routier, for guiding us through the stands and giving us an exclusive look at the exhibition

Middleweights Hino: This Japanese manufacturer launched its all-new 358 model, a Class 7 truck with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 33,000 pounds. The 260-hp 6-cylinder turbodiesel engine is mated to a 6-speed Eaton manual transmission or a 5-speed Allison autobox.
General Motors: GM proudly showcased its new commercial middleweight trucks from the GMC W4500 series. There was a Regular Cab model sitting next to an Extended Cab model. The latter is best suited to urban maintenance teams, for instance.
Sterling: Sterling simply could not let Navistar's International CXT get all the glory. That's why they created the MTB. Have a look at its super-size truck styling.
Navistar: Replacing the Hummer, the new International MXT-MV is capable of reaching 160 km/h to get away from mad terrorists. The jaw-dropping 1949 International KB-1, sporting the colors and the name of Erb Transport, is the ancestor of our modern trucks.
