F1: Jarno Trulli welcomes back his new power steering at Monza

By ,

According to f1fanatic.co.uk, Jarno Trulli will see the revised version of his Lotus's power steering introduced during the Hungarian Grand Prix back on his car at Monza.

The new system, introduced to better suit Trulli's driving style, had been put aside for the Belgian Grand Prix as some components we're found to be too weak.

“The car felt really good in Spa, and I know we have the revised power steering system I used in Hungary back for this race, so I think we’ll be ok”, said Trulli.

However, Lotus' boss, Tony Fernandes does not share Trulli's optimism.

“This weekend we are not going to be challenging the teams ahead quite yet in outright pace, but clever use of strategy should give us a chance to hold our own in the race. The target for Monza has to be to maintain the reliability record established in Spa and look for another two car finish at the chequered flag, as high as we can reasonably hope.”
