The installation of new aerodynamics components on the new McLaren-Mercedes MP4-24 helped solve some of the issues that handicapped the latest car from Woking in winter testing.Only two teams continued to test at Jerez de la Frontera in southern Spain. Heikki Kovalainen put the McLaren in first place today ahead of the Williams-Toyota of Kazuki Nakajima. Yesterday, Jenson Button, driving the stunning new Brawn BGP001-Mercedes, turned a quick lap of 1:17.844.
