Formula 1 drivers Pastor Maldonado and Kamui Kobayashi have been penalised after the Grand Prix of Great Britain held Sunday in Silverstone.

Pastor Maldonado from Venelzuela drifted his Williams-Renault into the side of Sergio Perez's Sauber. Maldonado was adjudged to have caused his collision with Perez, which led to the Sauber driver’s retirement, and due to the seriousness of the incident received a double penalty in the form of a reprimand and a 10,000-euro fine.

Kamui Kobayashi misjudges his pit entry and clatters four members of the Sauber pit crew. Thankfully none was seriously injured, but stewards fined the Japanese driver 25,000 euros for ‘a very dangerous manoeuvre which had potentially serious implications’.
