February will mark the beginning of the series of intense pre-season test sessions in preparation for the 2010 Formula 1 season.
Here are the dates:
February 1st to 3rd – Valencia (Ricardo Tormo), Spain
February 10th to 13th – Jerez, Spain
February 17th to 20th – Jerez, Spain
February 25th to 28th – Circuit de Catalunya, Spain
The teams only get 15,000 km of testing this season which they will spread across 15 days.
As of today, only Mercedes Grand Prix and Sauber BMW have confirmed their 2010 Formula 1 car launch date.
Sauber will unveil their now car on January 31 at Valencia while Michael Schumacher and according to Sport Bild link]Nico Rosberg[/link] will present the new Mercedes F1 car on January 25 in Stuttgart, Germany.
It will be interesting to note how many days of testing the new Cosworth-powered teams (Lotus, Virgin, Campos and USF1) will be able to accomplish during the course of their maiden season in F1.
