Our friends at Omnicorse.it claim on Monday that Robert Kubica, badly injured in a terrifying rally crash one year ago, will test a Ferrari F10 Formula 1 car later this year, probably in June.
But first, Kubica should soon drive a Renault Megane fitted with an automatic transmission and then spend some time in a Formula 1 driving simulator that can recreate the same forces in the steering wheel as the real thing.
Omnicorse.it says that the pole has already signed a letter of intent to join the Scuderia Ferrari in 2013.
The web site adds that Kubica would test in June a re-configured Ferrari F10, powered by the new 1.6-litre Italian V6 turbo engine under development for the 2014 season.
The 2010 F10 would serve as a test car to shakedown and perform the initial development of the new engine.
