F1: Single DRS zone for Grand Prix of Brazil in Sao Paulo

By ,

The Federation internationale de l'automobile has confirmed that there would be a single DRS zone in the final race of the season – the Grand Prix of Brazil at Interlagos.

The detection point will be situated mid-way Corner 2 (in yellow on the graph), with the activation zone will begin some 70 metres after the exit of Corner 3 (in green on the graph).

The track is 4.309km (2.68 miles) long.

The Drag Reduction System zone will be about 600 metres long, which the FIA believes will be enough to make overtaking possible but not too easy for this final Formula 1 race of the season in Sao Paulo.
