The FIA has announced that the Marina Bay street circuit of the Grand Prix of Singapore will feature just one DRS (Drag Reduction System) zone this weekend.
Wednesday, the FIA unveiled that the detection point (in yellow on the image) would be located in Corner 4 (light left hander), and the activation zone would begin at the exit of Corner 5 (in green on the image).
The FIA hopes that the DRS will generate more passing moves on that circuit where overtaking is generally quite difficult.
The Formula 1 sanctioning body also indicated that there has been a small change to the flat apex kerb at Turn 2.
