From American Le Mans Series Rahal Letterman Racing will assume the management of Formula BMW Americas. The move means that a single team will both partner with BMW of North America in the American Le Mans Series - with its two BMW M3 racers - and oversee the IMSA-sanctioned Formula BMW series in America. BMW Rahal Letterman Racing Team will debut the next-generation BMW M3s at the 57th Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Fresh from Florida. Bill Auberlen, Joey Hand, Tommy Milner and Dirk Müller have been named as the primary, full-season drivers for the program. Formula BMW Americas will support the American Le Mans Series at four venues in 2009: Miller Motorsports Park in mid-May, Lime Rock Park in July, and Road America and Mosport International Raceway in August.
