Formule 2: Swiss driver Christopher Zanella takes two wins in Magny-Cours

Christopher Zanella clinched victory in both rounds of the Formula 2 Championship presented in Magny-Cours, and takes the lead in the standings.

The Swiss driver powered in front of the pole position holder in Race 1, Alex Brundle to take victory in front of Tobias Hegewald and Brundle.

In race 2, Zanella, who clinched pole position, extended his domination and took a second win ahead of Brundle and Alex Bortolotti.

Zanella is now first in the standings ahead of Bortolotto and Monras, winners of both opening rounds at Silverstone.
