GP2 Asia: Charles Pic at the top in Bahrain

By ,

Charles Pic took victory in Race 2 in Bahrain, ahead of Giaccomo Ricci and Javier Villa.

Adrian Zaugg, who started from pole position, had a good start and kept first position at the first corner. Behind, Alvaro Parente and Sergio Perez hit each others, as did newly crowned Davide Valsecchi and Luca Filippi.

Zaugg was then overtaken by Charles Pic. He then defended his position against Jules Bianchi, but both had contact.

It was Pic's first win in GP2 Asia .
